Higuain:" We weren't at our best"

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has admitted that the Blancos weren't at their best against Atletico Madrid.

Despite a confident 2-0 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu, Higuain believes his side should have scored even more goals against their localrivals.
"We weren't as resounding as in past matches, but we proved we wanted to win and did," the Argentina international forward said to his club's official website.
"It was a tough match that I think we had to win", he added.
"The two goals were important. The final score wasn't very convincing. A mistake could have complicated things, but we did a good job."
Higuain then spoke of their upcoming clash against Real Murcia in the Copa Del Ray
"We need to keep this course and continue winning. We must win on Wednesday and continue improving our play."
The striker has scored 64 goals in 120 appearances for the La Liga giants.
